Clients tend to think they need to provide the art, the design, the ideas and creativity. When I hear this story, I feel compelled to make up for the previous tattooers missing out on opportunities.

But sometimes, the customer isn’t always right. I have steered many clients away from poor decisions and poorly planned pieces, churning their words and ideas into a real piece of art. Something that only they have, and that will never be replicated.

Old Tattoos don’t have to look old
Some of us have some “regrettable” tattoos, albeit an artist of substandard abilities, an ex’s name, maybe just an idea that you have grown out of. Whatever the case may be, there is almost always a way to fix or cover pieces of your past
If its a cover-up or a revival, I approach them with a smile on my face, every challenge is welcomed

The ultimate goal for you and I, is to have a tattoo that ages gracefully, timelessly. I will ask you the hard questions, I will challenge you, all in an effort to challenge myself. I am not the guy to slap a Pinterest design on you, there is no challenge nor fun in simply replicating someone else’s tattoo or artwork (there are exceptions)

Education
Over 20 years in the tattoo world has taught me more than I could have ever thought, but it’s never enough. Along with my tattooing, I have been dipping my toes into the fine arts. Enrolled in The Dayton Art Academy, my abilities and knowledge are consistently being refined and sharpened
